"The Demographiy Excellence Award Baden-Wuerttemberg honors projects that show exemplary, as the consequences of demographic change can be mastered in organizations. This is changing the World forever. Employees remain longer in employment, the labor force participation of women is increasing and labor with a migration background are essential. Health at work, lifelong learning and tailored working hours and career models are gaining importance. In addition, companies are facing the challenge to deal with an increasing cultural diversity of its workforce.

The impact on competitiveness, innovation and productivity increase. Health and well-being at work, incentive systems, lifelong learning, working hours and career models, treatment with core competencies, management of cultural diversity, demographics strength of products, concepts of movement and health, mobility and communication, mobile services, travel and online shops or demographically oriented store concepts, therefore, are just a few fields of action with which to enter the competition is possible."
