Prof Dr Uwe Böhm, District Managing Director of the IHK Hochrhein-Bodensee, presented the IHK's congratulations with a certificate on the medical technology manufacturer's 75th anniversary.

In his laudatory speech, Prof. Dr Böhm paid tribute to the experience of Managing Director Gerhard Daiger and his courage to keep trying new things. This has brought him to the point where he is today. The many awards are proof of the entrepreneur's success, said Böhm.

"The path to success is always individual and the decisive step in this direction often leads over rough, steep paths. Only those who manage to master these cliffs will ultimately reach the top of the mountain. You have managed to achieve extraordinary business success over a long period of time. It's not just hard work, but also the courage to take risks. This deserves special praise and equally high recognition," said Professor Böhm.

Following the laudatory speech and presentation of the certificate, the management invited guests to coffee and cake, and later to dinner. After the champagne reception, Gerhard Daiger honoured the dedication and commitment of the employees in his detailed speech. He also praised the commitment of the new employees, the joy, the high level of motivation and the reliability that they showed at their new workplaces. Gerhard Daiger was surprised at how much gratitude he received, including in the form of gifts, for his support, appreciation and job security.

The high number of 232 applicants for the commercial and production positions showed the great interest of job seekers in Dr. Walser Dental. Dr Walser Dental was recommended to many interested parties because of its excellent reputation and social commitment. Although they were not in a permanent position, they were looking for a company with a good working atmosphere and the opportunity for more responsibility and versatility.

Gerhard Daiger described how Dr Walser Dental has implemented 431 innovations since he took over in 1999. At the beginning of his new role in 1999, Dr Walser Dental had customers from 33 countries; today it has customers from 129 countries.

"75 years of innovations from the practice for the practice and deliveries to over 120 countries confirm the success of the manufacturer of dental instruments," says Gerhard Daiger.

The celebrations continued into the late hours of the evening in an exuberant, cheerful atmosphere.

Background information:
In 1948, dentist Dr Julius Walser, born in December 1894, founded "Dr J. Walser Dentalfabrikation" in Fürstenbergstraße in Radolfzell. The founder Dr Julius Walser had the first telephone in Radolfzell with the short number "300" as early as 1938. This telephone was an important means of communication, also for the citizens of Radolfzell.

The first trade fair was held in Munich in 1948. In 1960, the company moved to Teggingerstaße. In 1978 the company was renamed "Dr. Walser Dental GmbH".

In 1999 Gerhard R. Daiger bought the entire company and has been the managing director of Dr Walser Dental ever since. This was the first time in 51 years of the company's history that the company was not managed by a family member. In the same year, the company moved to the North Industrial Estate in Radolfzell.

Since the takeover by Senator Daiger in 1999, Dr Walser Dental has been able to significantly expand its international presence through many trips and has gained new customers in an additional 96 countries. The complaint rate has been close to zero for 24 years and the company has received many awards since 2006 alone. The company enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide, primarily due to the first-class, unique advantages of its products, their high product quality and fast delivery times. This is also confirmed by the "voices from the field" from enthusiastic professors and dentists all over the world.

Numerous inventions of dental instruments, all of which have been patented, facilitate the work of dentists worldwide and help them to save time and money.
