Monetary donation for Ukraine

03/03/2022

Dr. Walser Dental helps by a monetary donation and supports "Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft" (Engl.: “Cooperation Development Helps”) and "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" (Engl.: “Campaign Germany Helps”).

There is war in the middle of Europe. Hundreds of thousands of people are escaping in Ukraine. Among them are mainly women and children. They urgently need food, drinking water, emergency accommodations and warm clothing as well as blankets. Especially the nights are cold these days.

But the need for medical care is also great. Ukrainian hospitals urgently need bandages, syringes and surgical equipment.

Monetary donations are better than in-kind donations:
Monetary donations can be used more flexibly and efficiently by aid organizations or directly supporting individuals, institutions and companies. Material goods should only be donated if those in need and reputable organizations specifically ask for them.

Since the 1990s, aid organizations such as those from the "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" alliance have been committed to helping people in need in Ukraine. And even now, the helpers are there for the families.

If you would also like to help, you can donate money to the following account:

If you want to donate to another account, you should look for the quality seal of the German Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI). On its website the institute has created a list of aid organizations that support victims from Ukraine. The certified organizations thus attest an appropriate and economical use of donations. The DZI also offers donor advice with individual information on the respective organizations. The DZI has been auditing how charitable organizations use their donations since 1991.
