Dr. Walser Dental was honoured as one of the best in one of the most coveted awards organised by HR4Good and Kununu.
Previously, Dr. Walser Dental was asked to submit ‘rejection letters’ for applicants for one of the most coveted awards in order to inspire the HR community, together with Kununu, to be more humane in their recruiting practices.
HR4Good and Kununu therefore conducted a study and analysed around 13 million insights on the review platform to determine what is important in rejection letters to ensure a positive candidate experience.
An exceptionally good rejection letter is a demonstration of appreciation and pure employer branding! It is precisely at the moment of rejection that it becomes clear how seriously companies take the candidate experience. Those who communicate empathetically, individually and in line with their brand will be remembered positively – and create trust for future contacts and encounters.
Writing good rejection letters requires more than just nice words: appreciation, empathy and a keen sense of candidate experience are essential. This is exactly what the five-member expert jury stands for. With extensive experience in HR practice, employer branding, science and marketing, they evaluate the submitted rejection letters independently and with a clear eye for quality.
The jury, consisting of Prof. Dr. Frauke Austermann, Professor of Transformation of the Working World at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, Dr. Manfred Böcker, communications expert, Lena Weber, TUI Head of Global Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience, Nina Zimmermann, CEO of Kununu, and Marcel Rütten, founder and managing director of HR4Good, evaluated the many rejection letters received from companies and selected the best ones.
The best and most appreciative rejection letters from the submitting companies were first shortlisted by the jury, as they stood out for their excellent wording.
Two months after the required documents were submitted, Dr. Walser Dental's rejection letters were shortlisted among the 10 best rejection letters. Three weeks later, the winners were announced and Dr. Walser Dental came in sixth place.
