'Grand Prize for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses 2025'

Following nomination by an independent institution, Dr. Walser Dental reached the final round and was invited to the award ceremony.

Reaching the final round of the ‘Großer Preis des Mittelstandes’ (Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses) after the jury stage was a cause for great joy at Dr. Walser Dental. The Oskar Patzelt Foundation informed the manufacturer of dental instruments in writing, by means of a letter of congratulations and a certificate, that the company had reached the final round and was eligible to participate in the award ceremony.

Months earlier, Dr. Walser Dental had been named and nominated as worthy of recognition from among more than three million companies in Germany. This means that Dr. Walser Dental is once again one of the top companies in the country.

‘The “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” awarded by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation is the most coveted business award in Germany’ (DIE WELT).

Companies cannot apply for this competition themselves, but must be nominated. The competition is organised entirely on a voluntary basis, financed exclusively by private funds and subject to a quality management system certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015.

Five criteria apply to the ‘Grand Prize for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses’: overall development of the company, creation/securing of jobs and training places, modernisation and innovation, commitment to the region, service and customer focus, and marketing. Outstanding performance in all five criteria is required. Failure to meet just one criterion can lead to exclusion from further stages of the competition.
