Amnesty International is the world's largest human rights organization

Amnesty International is a worldwide independent member organization from governments, political parties, ideologies, economy interests and religion.

On the basis of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Amnesty turns against serious violations of the rights of everyone to freedom of expression, freedom from discrimination, and to physical and mental integrity. 1977 Amnesty International was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

The human right work of Amnesty International is large-scale. A global net of observers (Researcher) and honorary employees prepares regularly reports and points to violations of international human rights standards. These reports are brought in various ways to politicians, international organizations, opinion leaders and journalists and made available to the public. In addition to helping victims of inhumane treatment, education and awareness creation for Human Rights is a central task of Amnesty.
